We encourage independent thinking & problem solving through game-based sessions, as well as offering online coaching so that people all around the world can experience cricket the InForm way.

HEAD COACHES

Ed Young

ECB Level 3 Coach
Ex Gloucestershire CCC Professional, Current Wiltshire CCC Captain

 

Ed played Professional Cricket for Gloucestershire CCC during 2010-13. He played over 85 1st XI games, and played with the likes of Kane Williamson & Muttiah Muralitharan. Since 2014, he has coached aspiring players of all of ages and abilities to help improve their skills. He stills plays regularly, and loves helping cricketers be the best they can be.

Chris Peploe

ECB Level 3 Coach
England Cricket Sports Scientist

 

Chris is a Level III coach who has also spent 6 years working with England Cricket in Sports Science & Innovation, working with the elite male & female squads specifically on power hitting and fast bowling biomechanics.  He started coaching aged 15 and has been refining his skills ever since, now believing strongly in a games-led approach to learning.

JOSH DODD

Cricket South Africa Level 2 (ECB Level 3 Equivalent) Coach
Eastern Cape iinyathi (RSA Provincial), VECC Overseas Player

 

Josh has played List A & First Class cricket in South Africa, and has been the Valley End Overseas Player for four years. He’s a very good seam bowler, as well as a hard hitting right handed batter. Josh now opens the bowling and batting for Valley End CC, and is well equipped to help develop batters and bowlers at all levels making their way in the game.

Olly Tapp

ECB Level 3 Coach
Surrey Academy Batting Coach & Psychologist

 

Olly has coached in the professional game with the Wellington Firebirds in New Zealand and Northamptonshire CCC here in England. As well as working with the Surrey Academy as a Batting Coach and Sports Psychologist. He’s also one of the Cricket Professionals at Wellington College, so is well equipped to help young cricketers with their development.

JUNIOR COACHES

FREDDIE BRENNEN

ECB Level 2 Coach
Ex St George’s Weybridge Captain, 1st XI Valley End CC Player

 

Freddie joined Valley End CC in 2008 as a youngster. He’s progressed through the club to play both Surrey Trust and 1st XI games. He was Captain at St George’s Weybridge, where he scored 115 against Reed’s XI. Fred is currently at Bath Uni and is a ECB Level 2 Coach. He is a hard hitting batter, electric in the field, and is ready to give support to any cricketer looking to improve. Freddie helps out with age group sessions, holiday camps, and also runs bowling machine sessions.

GEORGE ALLOM

ECB Level 1 Coach
Ex St George’s Weybridge, 1st XI Normandy CC Player

 

George has been coaching for InForm for a couple of years now. He brings a lot of energy to the sessions, and is passionate about helping young players improve. He’s recently been in both Sydney and Cape Town over the 2023/24 Winter playing and coaching cricket, and is in the process of obtaining his Level 2 coaching qualification. He’s a lovely pace bowler, with a fluent action, and is well equipped to help young aspiring cricketers with their bowling, batting, and fielding.

TOM PILKINGTON

ECB Level 2 Coach
Valley End CC Youth & Senior Player
Coaches Worcestershire CCC Pathway.

 

Tom played cricket for Shepperton CC from the age of six, before he moved to Valley End. Since 2020 he has coached players of all ages and abilities to help improve their batting & fielding skills. He is an ECB Level 2, and is studying Cricket Coaching & Management at the University of Worcester.
Tom helps out with age group sessions, holiday camps, and also runs bowling machine sessions. He’s very keen to help youngsters improve at their game!
